MDF boards

MDF Standard

Raw MDF fibreboards are made by pressing wood fibres with the addition of organic binding and hardening compounds. They have a homogeneous, smooth surface, prepared for further treatment, such as varnishing, foiling, veneering, and covering with high-gloss foil. High quality, homogeneous composition and high density allow for easy machine processing. The board can be cut, drilled, milled and shaped to create any shape while maintaining dimensional stability.

MDF PLUS

It is a high-density board designed for the construction industry and deep milling applications. Available in a wide range of thicknesses and formats. LDF is a board with lower density. It is used for the production of wall and ceiling panels and in any place where high physical and mechanical parameters with a lesser weight are required.

MDF MR

At the customer's request, BOMAR is able to deliver MDF boards with increased resistance to moisture (MDF MR Moisture Resistance). This board can be successfully used in the conditions with increased humidity. It is distinguished from the standard MDF board with a swelling not exceeding 8%. It is intended for sale in a raw form, with one-sided melamine treatment and two-sided melamine treatment. The board may be coloured green. Continuous control of manufactured products ensures a uniform quality level.

Approvals and certificates

Melamine MDF board has a hygienic certificate. The board meets the hygienic requirements with a material load of 1m2/m3  of room volume.
The certificate does not apply to occupational health and safety conditions when assembling the product. The rooms where the product is used should be ventilated until the disappearance of the odour.
