Furniture boards – HDF Lacquered

Technology

HDF board is a wood-based product made by pressing wood fibres in the conditions of high pressure and temperature, with the addition of synthetic adhesives. Raw HDF boards constitute the base material for varnished HDF boards. Advanced processing method for the raw board provides a perfect surface even for two-sided varnishing. These boards can be coated with decorative veneers or resin papers. As a result, the finished product is extremely durable and available in a wide range of colours.

Properties

HDF boards are characterized by low weight and easy processing. They are distinguished primarily by high hardness and increased density, when compared to MDF boards. Thanks to the outer protective coating with the addition of water-soluble varnish and colourless UV varnish, they have increased resistance to weather conditions, mechanical impact and chemicals. Its cleaning and maintenance is also easy. HDF boards do not contain any structural imperfections such as knots, cracks etc.

Application

HDF boards are used in the furniture industry, civil construction and as interior design elements, e.g. as advertising components, frames for pictures and mirrors. In the furniture industry, they are used as a material for the furniture back walls, drawer bottoms as well as for upholstered and box furniture. In construction industry, they are often used as wall coverings, door panels and construction joinery. HDF boards are used in the production of floor panels. They are also used in the production of packaging.

The varnished HDF board offered by BOMAR is available in many appealing options. Our range of decors perfectly matches the colours of Pfleiderer laminated boards. As a result, it is possible to create stylistically coherent furniture and other interior finishing elements. The designer decides whether they will complement each other or be matched on the basis of contrast.
